Mahmoud Tamma is an emerging artist working at the intersection of new media art, technology and software programming.

His practice is driven by the reflections on societal narratives, media discourses, and the nature of Knowledge(s).

His work takes shape in physical installations and public interventions, translating media archaeology and normalized violence into imagery, sound and machines, imagining possible realities and futures.

Mahmoud is a qualified computer technologist (Idlib, Syria 2013), software developer (Leer, Germany 2019) and holds a BA in Digital Media at the University of the Arts (Bremen, Germany 2024).
